Introduction and Definitions

Welcome to HiTech Jo ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website (www.hitechjo.com), services, and products. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. "You" refers to the individual or entity using our services. "Service" refers to all technology solutions we provide including web development, e-commerce platforms, ERP implementation, custom software, and digital services. "Account" refers to your unique account for accessing our services. "Personal Data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. The "Country" refers to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Services and Account Management

The Company provides technology solutions across multiple industries including education, corporate and business, e-commerce and retail, media and publications, medical and healthcare, and manufacturing sectors. To access certain features, you may need to create an account by providing accurate information including email, name, phone, and address. You are responsible for maintaining account security and all activities under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or provide false information. Each project follows four stages: understanding client needs, planning and strategy design, development and implementation, and delivery with ongoing support.

Intellectual Property and Ownership

All content, features, and functionality including text, graphics, logos, software, and trademarks are owned by the Company and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you provide but grant us a license to use it for delivering services. Upon full payment, ownership of custom-developed deliverables transfers to you, except for pre-existing intellectual property and third-party components. We reserve the right to showcase completed projects in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any changes to project scope must be requested in writing and may result in adjustments to timeline and cost.

Payment Terms and Refunds

Prices are quoted in Jordanian Dinars (JOD) or US Dollars (USD) and specified in project proposals. Payment terms typically include upfront deposits of 30-50%, milestone payments, and final payment upon completion. Late payments incur 2% monthly fees and may result in service suspension or legal action. Deposits are non-refundable once work commences, completed work is not eligible for refunds, and disputes must be raised within 14 days of delivery. Clients are responsible for providing timely feedback, necessary materials, and payment according to agreed terms.

Data Protection and Privacy

Your personal data is collected, processed, and protected according to our Privacy Policy in compliance with GDPR and applicable laws. We collect personal information (email, name, phone, address) and usage data (IP address, browser type, pages visited). We use cookies and tracking technologies to improve services. Your data is used to provide services, manage your account, send updates and offers, and improve our services. We may share information with service providers, business partners, and affiliates. You have the right to access, update, delete your data, object to processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent at any time. Service Level, Support, and Warranties

Support is available daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM except Fridays at info@hitech-jo.odoo.com or Paris Street, Amman, Jordan. We strive for maximum uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Services are performed with professional skill and care but provided "AS IS" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for particular purpose, or error-free operation. We are not responsible for third-party software, hosting providers, payment processors, or social media platforms.

Liability and Indemnification

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential damages, loss of profits, data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law. Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information disclosed during our relationship, except for publicly available information or information required to be disclosed by law.

Termination and Dispute Resolution

Either party may terminate for material breach with 30 days notice, for convenience with 60 days notice, or immediately if the other party becomes insolvent. Upon termination, payment for completed work is due and confidential information must be returned. These Terms are governed by Jordanian law. Disputes will be resolved through negotiation, then binding arbitration in Amman, Jordan. Courts in Amman have exclusive jurisdiction for non-arbitrable matters. Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to force majeure events including natural disasters, war, government actions, pandemics, or infrastructure failures.

General Provisions

These Terms, project agreements, and Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement. We may modify these Terms at any time with changes effective upon posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance. If any provision is unenforceable, remaining provisions remain valid. You may not assign rights without our consent; we may assign without restriction. Nothing creates a partnership or employment relationship. By using our services, you acknowledge reading, understanding, and agreeing to these Terms.
